A Big Hello to all WOO Fans! 🥳🥳🥳 WOO!
I think today's interview will interest quite a few wrestling fans as Raven talks about one of the "A-Listers" in WWE, Goldberg! It is quite an eye opener to know that a person like Goldberg once had to be mentored by Raven too.
This is a pretty short interview today, clocking in at just under 2 minutes. However, in the interests of those who just plain prefer the good ol' written language, here's a summary of the key points in the interview.
Summary of Raven's Interview
Wrestling Goldberg in WCW
- Pride in Matches with Goldberg
- Raven expresses pride in his matches with Goldberg, particularly one on a Thursday Thunder episode.
- Initially, he forgot about the match until Shannon Moore reminded him.
- After rewatching it, Raven recognized it as a good match.
Match Preparation and Challenges
- Planning with Goldberg
- Early in Goldberg's career, Raven had to guide him through the matches.
- Goldberg, being inexperienced ("green"), resisted selling certain moves, claiming he wouldn't react in real life.
- Raven found this frustrating but adapted to Goldberg's superhuman persona.
Reflection on Match Style
- Preference for Short Matches
- Raven comments on the appeal of short, impactful matches.
- He contrasts his preference for quick matches with longer, more drawn-out ones.
Raven sure sounds like a proud teacher who has seen his student scale the greatest heights. Be sure to watch the interview if you can. I have linked the youtube video below. Do show your appreciation and support to Raven and Wrestling Shoot Interviews (WSI) too with a like and share!
Well, that's it for today. We will continue again tomorrow! 😁 WOO! 🎉
