A Big Hello to all WOO Fans! 🥳🥳🥳 WOO!
Another quiet weekend in WOO, and perhaps there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for it. With WOO Promotions getting closer, I wonder how many players are already thinking about what they want to do when the feature becomes available. After all, this is not just about having another button to click. It could change how we approach the game and interact with other players.
I have gotten some feedback that reminders are pretty useful when it comes to the regular events held in WOO. So here I am again with a quick reminder for any upcoming events.
One of the interesting things about Promotions is that players will have the choice of creating their own or joining an existing one. That sounds simple enough, but I imagine there will be quite a bit of thought involved. Do you want to be the person starting something from scratch, or would you rather join a group that already has a plan and other players contributing towards a common goal?
There is also the question of commitment. Players can only belong to one Promotion at a time, and leaving comes with a cooldown. That means choosing a Promotion may not be something we want to do on a whim. I can already imagine players looking around, asking questions, and trying to figure out which group shares their goals.
Perhaps this weekend is unofficial recruitment weekend, even if nobody has officially announced anything! Some players might be thinking about gathering friends, while others could be waiting to see which Promotions are being formed before making their decision. There might even be a few players who are perfectly happy staying independent until they find the right group.
I think this is one of the more interesting aspects of the upcoming update. WOO has always been about collecting wrestlers, building rosters and managing matches, but Promotions introduce another layer where players can work towards something together. It gives us a reason to think beyond our own collections.
So if WOO feels a little quiet this weekend, perhaps everyone is simply doing their homework. Nobody wants to join the wrong wrestling family and discover that they have signed up with a bunch of managers who cannot even agree on a team name!
TLDR: This is a reminder to all my readers (and WOO fans) that baring any last minute sudden surprise events, this weekend should be a relatively quiet one. 😜
Well, that's it for today. We will continue again tomorrow! 😁 WOO! 🎉

The main reason I got into WOO was pretty much thanks to
