So I've always been a killshot-kiddy. You know, someone who loves to run around getting killing blows, doing big deeps. I've never really considered playing a healer. I always thought it would be dull and gloryless.
Well, I was wrong.
I'm currently leveing a Paladin as Holy with a warrior friend of mine and it has been a lot of fun. While it is true that playing a support class can be less exciting, DotA comes to mind. I HATE playing Support in DotA since you just become useless paper to be ripped through and discarded more often than not.
WoW, however, successfully offers players the opportunity to fully enjoy and commit to a supporting class.
I don't feel weak at all.
I enjoy healing 5 mans much, much more than I do DPS'ing them. I'm the pillar, around which my whole team depends.
I, and I, alone keep them alive.
