My journey on Steemit

Hello guys, so am here thinking and I realized that it has been 5 months of me being here on steemit....How time flies. No day has gone past without having to thank the friend who introduced me to steem @mistakili, giving a shout out to him.

The past few months have spent here has been great, educative and informative. Have been able to learn still learning, grow and become better than my first day here. Have learnt how to socialize with fellow steemians, which is one important things here on this platform. This was made possible by my discord family @steemterminal, there I met very supportive and lovely people who are ready to help you grow. Giving shout out to @brittandjosie, @wesphilbin, @iamraincrystal, @mrnightmare89, @kittygirl, @sgt-dan, @xcountytravelers and many wonderful friends, pardon me guys as this space would not be enough if I am to start listing names....@c0ff33a thank you.

Steemit platform opens one to various opportunities from different sectors. You learn new things everyday when you read others post, for some that were not into blogging before steemit, you build yourself little by little as it requires work. For you to be here, one needs to be ready to put in time and effort, because whatever reward you get here needs to be earned. Not easy for me initially though as I struggled to find my own space here, but I have come to realise that here on steemit you can be versatile as long as it is your work or created by you, you can pick a major handle though that you good that, it is an added advantage.

Steemit and Other social media

Well I do not see much of a difference between them except the fact that here you earn while you make your post, creating good and quality post that is yours and if not the owner should get the credit by that you add the source. You have fun here too, you get to make friends and push yourself to be better by engaging in contests organized by different people. Doing well on steemit requires consistency, be social visit other people's post and importantly ask questions, joining a discord group will help... No one is an island of knowledge you know.

Where I see myself on steemit come next year?

I see my self growing better, creating better contents, helping and supporting other incoming steemians as I have been assisted and supported. Investing on steem would not be a bad idea also. I want to earn more to hehehe.... and make better movie reviews too lol. In addition, with the way the is going now learning more about cryptocurrencies is important so I want to learn about it, steem is a start.
