yeah im not keen on them getting access to the battery. because. when the grid goes down for some reason... or THEY are short... likely I could be short too and the whole reason i have the battery and solar is to deal with emergency situations. So i don't want to risk the only time we need it.... and not having it...
Yeah every plan i have looked at, says, "we pay more for power for the first chunk, or 6 months, and then back to usual crap rates" but you are locked in a 1 year contract or something.
anyway im looking forward to how the system holds in summer. We have a pool, a spa, 4 air con, 3 fridges and all work from home... so the power load is high. seeing as we have held for 2 months without grid power AT ALL. im hopeful that summer while aircon drain be more the generation will be substantial as well.
