I would LOVE in someway to do physical gold. or something other than cash in the bank. We have property... but thats all following the idea that the government won't demand it back. (just cos they can if they really want). Other than buying my own island.. lol.. But if we get to the point that govt is recalling property en masse... we are in a very sticky situation anyway. Then we need a defensible off grid place. .

But i am worried that we have so much in "cash assets" either as cash or shares. Ive been meaning to look into paper gold at least. I could always sell my shoe collection... lol

Our financial advisor suggested SMSF, you can put property in there as well.
