Ok.... next episode :-) :-)
something for us newer players. lets face it... a maxed gold foil dragon summoner or doctor blight is out of reach. big time out of reach. We are probably in the game from the "now" point forward. So something directed newbie players. I can extend to a few fancies... but to be fair they are going to be my summoners as i need them to advance. Perhaps a few VERY select others.
the discussion has been amazing and even though a lot is on expensive cards (not all of it for sure), the strat is still very helpful... Ive learnt a lot. A lot. As a newbie you know ive only just started creeping into Silver III - II and getting the cards for gold seems daunting to say the least.
so perhaps an episode on overall game plan strat for new players - OR what cards that are super cheep now will best improve you position later on. So How far ahead do you guys plan and think?
Granted i know that giving away too much here might tickle the toes of those who are buying a particular card for profit. So don't do that if that is the case. But rather focus on cards to improve your game plan later rather than " this one will increase the most in value"
or possibly a title -
" How to get from Bronze in to silver" or
"Best Bronze Water game strat" focusing on newer cards
"Best Silver Earth strat" focusing on some new and some old cards
"What you need to get from silver to gold as cheaply as possible" or
" lessons learnt from a newbie player" (stop playing for two seasons because you are sulking over a dragon quest and don't want to skip the quest...)
" what mistakes newbie players make and how to fix them"
or bamboozle us with " watch me talk about 5 champion league games" and open the quest rewards for the daily quest
"playing set vs. a investment deck" if there is such a thing
Or mini episodes where you discuss:
"silver quests with odd or evens"
"4 ways to combat flying in games" - Which i learnt a lot about in this one to be fair. Awesome info.
"How to play an all sneak quest"
recently i have discovered the following:
if i want to play in gold eventually, putting lots of $$$ into cards that i can't upgrade to reflect a gold summoner are a bit pointless.
I CAN however upgrade some cheaper cards to a higher level (finding a balance between price and usefulness) as aware nothing beats some of those gorgeous ledgendaries...
how much cheaper it is to actually buy a higher level card with a much lower cost/per/card. rather than just chipping away at single cards but for that i need to know where i want to play eventually and i keep moving the goal posts... lol I have certainly started buying ABOVE my current level if the cards are markedly cheaper there.
BUY THE CARDS YOU USE WHILE THEY ARE STILL FREE TO USE AND BEFORE THEY GET TAKEN AWAY AND THE PRICE INCREASES ... Water summoner +1 lol...
Anyway.. you asked for ideas...
So many episodes i would like to listen to you talk about.
