Steemit? STEEMIT? Steemit over tribes?
What is wrong with you? Why would you say something like that?

For such a long and treacherous time have we been fighting for SMTs or the idea of it and, what was once a fragment of the fanatical idea we had, which today is known as tribes.
We hated what the trending page had become and we detested the bots just as much as they were celebrated. We disliked how curation had become voting and we hesitated to acknowledge that quality was going unnoticed. We hated so many things that we needed a miracle to slowly reduce the number of things we could complain about. Then, out of nowhere, we had the miracle of steemage: The Charlie Foxtrot HF.
The Charlie Foxtrot Hardfork wasn't any less controversial than many of the notorious former hardforks that had been and still are scrutinized, but then again not many are yet sure of how many hardforks exactly did it take to execute this hardfork, itself.
But, nevertheless, I like it. I like the new changes. It has literally opened up so many more ways of appreciating the steem blockchain. It feels like steem blockchain was a disoriented orchestra for cats. Now, it feels more like a 7 years old's dessert in the toy's aisle. Colorful, fun, relatively coordinated, however still not perfectly in order.
The 50/50 has allowed more rewarding curation and a bit more fluidity in terms of making your stake and upvotes feel relevant. The "free" DV has allowed a lot of a.b.u.s.e. to be taken care of, the trending page looks better and overall I, as a user, feel strong. Blind-strong.
In my opinion, the scot tribes and the HF has all worked perfectly and in the right time. It does feel like an intact package. However, there are parts of it that do bother me. There are parts that bother everybody!

Now, both of these posts are a clear depiction of what I call "informative" and usually hunt for, right after I'm done with the free SM giveaways. But, GHAD, do I want to hate these posts. I want to hate them so damn much, but I cannot!
When you put together the 2 posts they make so much more sense than they do stand-alone. Realwolf talks about how steemit should steem-centric and that those who add most value also have the right to more of the reward-pool. This makes sense to me; not only does it put the rewards where they should be at, it also makes steemit the "home page" where anybody, new or veteran may learn about what is happening on the blockchain and what steem is all about.
Noname talks about utilizing the tribes to their full potential through curation and their exclusivity. THAT IS WHAT TRIBES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE RIGHT?
In the past everything was jumbled up and most of what is and what was used to get lost in the same place with not much and a lot of the much being distributed that didn't wasn't relevant much.
Today, with the tribes we can have a dedicated platform where you can take a break from the harmonious mess of unity of all topics within steemit and enjoy your cup of tea. On steemit, you can come down here to see what is the latest update and who has raised in the ranks of "good job for making this for steem" karma. Use the free antiabuse to clean house and voila!
However, I had to ponder about two things with no fruition. The people who have absolutely no clue about the steem blockchain when the stumble across steemit, and how long before the tribes become what steemit used to be - a mess.
Hear me out, if steemit was to become the homepage with all the latest updates, project developments and crypto news, how many "normies" would still be interested? I only think this question is relevant because steemit is still the most popular and reachable front-end. Not everyone is too keen about those, right? Will they find their steem lifestyle as easily?
Secondly, being part of a curation team or an independent curator is all nice and dandy. With bots going down the drain things are starting to look a bit brighter. I still can't help but think how long before a curator becomes so massive and gives in to the greed that they themselves create a "tribidbot" or "tribevote-service" and the "buy-to-win" cycle starts all over again? Will free DVs still be of much effect?
