Our local Marquee Cinemas in Toms River, New Jersey is a family favorite for our household of movie lovers. Not only is the General Manager Shannon someone whom I consider a friend, but my son also works there and absolutely loves his gig. That’s why I absolutely love throwing my support to them as they make the movie going experience an absolute pleasure.
So when Ant-Man & Wasp Quantumania was set to hit the big screen last week, we decided to partake in the fun. Therefore my shop Conquest Comics, rounded up a handful of kickass Ant-Man related merchandise for the theater to raffle off. We usually try to do this whenever a superhero movie comes out…at least when we remember to. To be eligible, you just fill out a ticket with your info and drop it in the jar. Seems like there’s some interest!!!
For this flick, we went with the ever popular Funko Pop as the main attraction. This one was an Exclusive that comes with a tiny Ant-Man as well. This is a popular one in our shop that moves all the time, so we figured it would be a hit. Then we added the Mystery Mini (also by Funko). This is a Blind Box so you could get one of 3 versions of Ant-Man or Yellowjacket. Finally we rounded it out with 2 Exclusive Variant covers for Ant-Man #5. A pretty well rounded prize I feel.
This along with Shannon’s artistic skills help make the movie going experience here, a fun night to remember. Take a look at this awesome Photo Op she created for the release. I hope she doesn’t mind me sharing the “making of” process, but it was too cool not to share. Kick ass job Shannon!
On that note, I’ll leave you all to your day. Thanks for supporting my drivel!!! 🙏
