Perhaps I do not know the Keptin well enough, but I am under the impression his decision is strictly that of order and discipline.....not guided by his emotion but by the bright star of jurisprudence.

Have you seen the film....'Master and Commander'? I would recommend it....for all of us Sailors....especially the Officers. ^__
