Well said. It is a truth that we should always leave room in our planning for the unexpected. Another thought is to run your worst case scenario...most times it does not turn out quite that bad...but in this way we are prepared for the worst.

Sorry to hear your refrigerator has given out....there is never a good time for that to happen. Here's hoping you will be able to replace it soon.
