This is one of my all time favourite books to think on and to recommend.

The quote you give is as good a take away as any from this excellent book.

I appreciate the story given of man being questioned by the SS ...was asked 'Who are you?' and he proceeded to show his documents....the questioner threw the documents in the waste paper bin and inquired...'Now who are you?'

Thank you for your post...enjoyed thinking again on 'Man's Search for Meaning'.

My greatest take away from the book....In adversity, in order to survive...one must remain objective.
