Hope this post finds you well.
Per request, Bleujay is presenting one of her Watercolour paintings and a bit about the process.
Many times the paintings are a compilation of ideas that take time to sort...I usually call that period of time...'Incubation'. Sometimes it can take months until something comes together as a composition.
This one in particular had many of the components in place as I have photographed a few tulips and painted a few as well in preparation for this idea in the works, however the inspiration from the packaging of a fine Italian Soap brought the idea to completion for the composition and the painting was a go from that moment forward.

Materials used....D'Arches 140lb. Watercolour paper.....Winsor&Newton Watercolour tube paints....Watercolour Sable brushes Size 10, 8, and 6.
Size of work.....38x56cm / 15x22inches....also known as a 'half sheet'.
