One of the best way to become a great leader is that you should learn to set a good example , as a leader you should be able to ensure that you practice what you preach , if you do not practice what you preach then the team you are leading or those you are leading will not respect you because you are not leading by great example..Always make sure you also follow the rules which you enforce to others too..be a great example to them..
I also believe that a great leader should be able to respect everyone that they meet , a leader will of course meet different kinds of people with different behaviours but what makes you a leader is the ability to be able to manage them all and also you need to learn how to value the input of each individual and always give them a listening ear.., always listen to their opinions and ideas too.
As a leader you need to recognize your own shortcomings and learn to understand that you are human too and you cannot always be perfect , learn to recognize your flaws and always work towards on how to be a better version of yourself , always be willing to listen to corrections , always be willing to learn and always be willing to pay attention to constructive criticism which could come from those you are leading..
You do not have to be arrogant before you can be a great leader , you do not need to be too bossy before you can be respected as a great leader..
