I captured these images during 2-days long Jabel Rum mountain traverse. It is located in Wadi Rum desert in Jordan.
During the first day we climbed to the summit plateau and slept there.
OK, it is just called "plateau", but in fact it was a labyrinth consisting of huge cones formed by erosion and cliffs.

The second day was dedicated to the descending.
The traverse on the image was the last dangerous technical obstacle. Passing it meant achieving a safe area.
Well, almost. The very last obstacle waited for us in the far end of the ledge, we were supposed to rappel down there. You can see 2 figures standing there and preparing ropes for rappelling.
All in all it was a great adventure in the desert mountains.
