I honestly don't feel any rush to go on safari in Africa when in the forest located within 20 minutes drive from home FOXES CLIMB ON TREES!
OK, serious now: of course in Kenia there would be a leopard on the tree, not some silly fox. But I'm pretty fed up with thousands of leopards, giraffes and lions images from safari trips. It is not unique anymore. As well, sitting in jeep along other tourist and being guided by a local ranger doesn't feel to me like an adventure.
Finding an animal myself, even if it takes months, and photographing it on my own is a Fantastic adventure. Even if this adventure unfolds around the corner of my own home.
