I am doing something different this week and go back to three covers I have heard just this week while listening to my discover weekly playlist on Spotify. For some reason the algorithm always throws in a few cover songs and I have to give it to Spotify, they always pretty much hit the nail on the head when it comes to songs that they think I would like. Some of the bands are relatively unknown and I love this. The wife is always giving out to me around having bands she never heard of on all the time as she has always stuck to her 90's alternative rock genre and is holding on for dear life to the likes of Oasis, Arctic Monkeys. Whereas I am out in the music wilderness looking for inspiration and this is why I am liking
So lets kids it off with a song by a band called The Dunts. They have livened up the classic
The Dunts - Hey Yeah
Cover of the outkast classic with a American rock vibe to it. I thought it was excellent. Band name a bit funny though.

Moss - Video Games
I always loved Lana Del Rey's classic and this speeds it up slightly and adds some texture to it.
Another one that I liked.
Can't Move On - The Blizzards (Wild Youth Cover)
The sad version of this popular Irish pop song is much better than the original. The only problem is , it is hard to find on any form of media so this link with have to do. Excellent cover. If you want a link to the original it is below it. Love the lyrics to this by the way. For a new Irish band who are going in the pop direction, the lyrics are pretty slick.
