Yeah there is a festival on in Essen on the June bank holiday weekend called Ruhrfest . It's on this weekend actually. The Irish descend on the city and its like a trad festival. It's class. So I go to Frotzpatricks. One of the barmen was my groomsman so I go over regularly. Also for champions league matches when Spurs played Dortmund. Try to get to that but I could not make it this year. I hit the Anglo every year for a weekend. Super Sunday in the anglo supping pints on a barrel is heaven. Next time I am heading I will let you know.
