Add more features to Phone Fone Fun application

Phone Fone Fun

This is a free open source application which is in form of a simple play phone for toddlers. The application is simple to use especially for kids. The application has a keypad where users can type numbers. Using this application I noticed some features can still be added to the application.
I will like to suggest that the following features should be added to the application:

• Backspace button
• Add songs to the application
• Add alphabeths

Proposal

• Backspace feature: This feature is used to delete typed alphabets or number in the order at which they are typed. It can be used to delete a single number at a time. This application is a simple phone and when numbers are typed, user should be able to delete one by one especially when there is minor mistake. The application has a clear all feature but this does not do the job of a backspace feature. When the backspace feature is clicked, it deletes the last typed figure.

• Add songs to the application: One of the basic forms of learning and playing for toddlers are through songs or nursery rhymes. I noticed this application does not have that feature. I will like to suggest the inclusion of nursery rhymes in this application.
  For instance, when the song feature is switched on, and a figure/ keypad is pressed a nursery rhyme plays.

• Add alphabets: On this phones keypad a user should be able to switch between numbers and alphabets. For toddlers learning and getting so much contact with alphabets is a good thing to quicken their learning phase.
  For instance, when a users switch to alphabets, and clicks an alphabet a vocal representation of the alphabet should be given.

For all these features, a settings button for more personalization might be necessary.

Benefits

The inclusion of this feature will bring more fun to the application. Also this application will be an educative and parents will want this application for their toddlers anytime, any-day. They will be rest-assured that when their kids play with this application, they will learn something about alphabets and numbers.

The song feature will make toddlers love this application because kids loves music and nursery rhymes.

All the suggested feature will be of great importance because it guarntees more fun for uses and also more options for them. These feature will increase the number of users.
