Yeah.. I'm starting to see the crumby posts here and there but for the most part, I find, they don't last long. At least the groups I'm in (mostly music stuff) There is a large group of us that have been around quite a while now and its not hard to pick out the slugs who arn't really interested. I think its great that Hive has a bit of a filter to screen out the dead wood. I want to see Hive excell and that takes a little/a lot of work from everyone involved.
