There are numerous strategies that schools are using just to see the full potential of each learners. It is not about a school centered curriculum but the most effective way in 21st century is the student centered approach.

Personalized learning is a little bit same as Individualized learning it is just that personalized learning is according to a students needs and is basically made for the students interests.

TRADITIONAL LEARNING vs. PERSONALIZED LEARNING



Traditional Learning is all about mass production-teaching students in a uniform manner and expecting them to learn in a teachers pace and to adjust in the system. Personalized learning is all about mass customization- teaching students to set their own goal but in a manner that it is a 100% success.

Personalized learning allows students to learn anywhere, everywhere and anytime.They can also learn online and just at home. It is time consuming and if I am not mistaken Personalized learning gave a chance to those smart and diligent students to enroll early in college.

Instructional sources are also different. In a traditional learning, most of the information is coming from the teachers or in a specific material. In personalized learning the students are encourage to search online and not to depend on materials.

In a personalized learning, students have the opportunity to collaborate with the others. Another thing is the teacher, in a traditional learning teachers has a hard time controlling and teaching the behind students since there’s a lot of them. Meanwhile, in a personalized learning, teachers are supervisors and they only guide the students rather than spoon feeding them.

There is a highest chance of success in a personalized learning since it works better according to a students interest and multiple intelligences.
