10,000 hours with my temptations,
A battle fought with dedication,
I struggled with desires so strong,
But I stood firm and I carried on.
With every hour that passed me by,
I felt the pull of my vices high,
But I knew I had to be strong,
And keep marching forward all day long.
I put in the time and I put in the work,
I faced my temptations and never did shirk,
I learned and I grew with each passing day,
And I proved to myself that I could find my way.
And now, as I look back on those hours,
I see all the progress and all the powers,
I've gained from my struggles and my strife,
And I know that it's led to a better life.
So I'll keep putting in my 10,000 hours,
With my temptations, I'll never cower,
For I know that the work and the pain,
Will lead to a brighter future again.
