I interviewed an SCA blacksmith in my early college years while I was still learning to do video editing, so my video's not the best. He was relaxing so he wasn't in his full protective gear. It was neat. He's a good friend and tried to teach me smithing, but given my intolerance for heat, I don't sweat, it didn't work out. I was able to learn a little on particularly cold evenings, and in fall events where the daytime temps were fairly chilly, but otherwise, I couldn't tolerate being by the forge.
