In real life, I've raised geese and swans. True those wings HURT when they hit, but if you can grab them, usually by the neck, you can usually stop the wings fast. The ones we had were vicious S.O.B's! Heh. Problem is, most people are afraid of the fact you ARE gonna get bruised up in the process.
