I looked up what chemicals in peanuts calls the allergen. The proteins Ara h 1, Ara h 2 and Ara h 3 are the dominant allergens. Ara h 8 has high similarity with a birch tree pollen allergen and is most often associated with a less severe form of allergy called pollen-food allergy syndrome.
