Sadly, I know way too many vegans in real life who'd try to feed the dragon, and the hatchlings, only vegan food, which,of course, would do much more harm than good to them. Just like they try to feed their dogs and cats a pure vegan diet, and then wonder why the poor animals are getting thinner and thinner, and getting sick.
