Reminds me of the outbreaks of distemper that sometimes break out in feral cat colonies in this area. It's heartbreaking to see kittens so sick, their eyes crusted over and mewing in discomfort. But hard to catch them. Feral cat colonies are maintained, or at least people try to, but it's sad how irresponsible so many pet owners are, especially cat owners.
