I remember, in high school, despite being a woman, being dressed as Santa for plays because I was the biggest one. And the kids enjoying sitting with me telling me things they wanted for the holiday. I'd write it down, put it in a pretty envelope, and then when the kid went to pick out a toy or treat from the gift basket the school provided, I'd hand the envelope to the parents / guardians. :-) It was my favorite part of the holiday. Making kids smile.
