Reminds me of what happened to the American Samoan Islands. Antivaxxers managed to get so far into the system that the vaccination rates of those isles dropped down to less than 35%. An individual travelled to the isle, deliberately, who was infected with Measles. Very shortly, a massive outbreak occurred and SO many children died they had to call to other nations to get caskets because they didn't have enough caskets for all of the dead kids. And that's not counting all the ones that suffered and all the dead adults.

While the government was aggressively fighting to get their people vaccinated with the MMR during the outbreak, antivaxxers, and other shysters, began to actually become quite violent, trying to stop people from vaccinating and harassing families to get the families to take their sick children out of the hospitals and to bring them to the shysters instead. Many antivaxxers, mostly ones from the USA, tried to harass, and harm, people to try to stop the vaccinations, and there were alot of arrests.

The outbreak was, FINALLY, stopped when the vaccination rates rose sharply to over 90% and those that survived were also vaccinated.

To this day, many antivaxxers hotly deny the incident even happened, despite the fact it was THEIR actions that caused it. Because, of course, their views on disease outbreaks is "It didn't happen", even when people are dying all around them.
