Oh, there's NO SUCH THING as "undeserving poor" in my book. I'm talking about wealthy individuals who pretend to be poor and in rags and then go begging, and going to charities for food, and other such things, and then go back home whe, in fact, they have really good jobs, and make really decent money.
You're right, these individuals are very few and far between, it's the exception rather than the norm. But, sadly, there ARE people who are greedy enough to want to bilk the system rather than to help those who are in need of help. And yeah, the Far-Right if they had THEIR way? There'd be no programs, at ALL, to help those in need. Their view of those who are poor and suffering is "Well then those people should die because those are just useless mouths".
It's very sad.
