For a long time, I HATED how I looked. And sometimes slapped myself to the point of giving myself a bloody nose. Heh, genetic disorders that make weight loss difficult are very hard to live with. But, I eventually realized, I'm doing everything I can already. Eating right, exercising, resting appropriately, living a good life. I shouldn't judge myself on others' standards. But that was very hard to learn, esp. given how society, as a whole, judges women. You're "too fat" or "too thin" or you're "too pale" or "too dark" etc.
