Is it wrong that I not only giggled through this whole story of Wraithvine running away from the kitten, the kitten constantly giving chase, and going "squee!" And "aw!" When they finally relented to pet and adopted the silly sweetie?
I'm sorry, but the mental image of Wraithvine doing everything in hir power, to, GENTLY, escape the kitty without hurting it, and the kitty being absolutely determined to have Wraithvine as their person... sorry but that's both super-cute, and absolutely humorous at the same time. Both the safest kitty in the world, the most spoiled furball in the world, and likely will end up with at least a little magic imbued in it to make it better able to keep up. And I can just see it now, Wraithvine having a hard day, a day where all the smiles seem to be completely gone, only for the furball to climb into the lap and start to purr, and at least one smile returning.
