Chocolate pudding fruit does not have theobromine in it. It does taste a little like chocolate with a texture similar to pudding when ripe. Though some people have said it tastes more like a chocolatey persimmon than actual chocolate. It really IS a fruit that actually looks like, and tastes like, chocolate, but does not have any of chocolate's other qualities, like being able to be melted and sculpted and such.
