She's been hurt, a lot. Now, for possibly the first time in her life, someone's trying to just be her friend. Not wanting anything in return, not expecting anything in return. Just trying to be kind for the sake of kindness itself. I think it's finally healing her damaged heart. This wish, I think, despite its intent, is healing all of them.
