It is an unfortunate truth that humans have a very violent nature. They blame their violent outbursts on "others", i.e. "that group did it, not us!", especially when it comes to riots. Multiple times there were riots due to sports teams winning / losing games and people on the news will say of some "vigilante group", usually blaming minorities, "attacked the city." And yet all videos show that it was sure as Tartarus was not a group of foreigners or minorities.

Or they'll attack the players themselves. More than once a visiting team will have to be escorted out of a city via police escort because they managed to defeat the home team, and the fans, NOT the other team, will wildly attack the players trying to kill them. All becuase they happened to play a game better than the other team.
