I hate to say it, but Human Cal KINDA sounds like me. In 2013 I was ignoring all the signs of a serious lower-back lock-up and the pain was growing worse and worse over time. After a time, the pain became so bad I could not even sit up. I ended up bedridden for almost two and a half months. If I had just started sleeping on the recliner, taking pain meds, and NOT trying to push myself doing my usual routines, but rested, it would not have gotten to the point where I needed to go to a hospital. I'm really bad about the "No I'm ok, I can tough this out" behavior, too.
