I have to admit, I'm phobic about really bad wind storms. If I'd been there, I think I'd've been panicking more than the havenworlders. I used to be so bad any storm would set off my phobia, but being forced to drive through them to get to and from school, and to and from work, helped me manage it. Doesn't mean I don't freak out, still, if one is really bad.
