Now THAT is just too damn adorable!! These creatures that, for anyone else, would be horrifying to behold, and scare the HELL out of the havenworlders, are, in fact, TERRFIED of the havenworlders who are there in peace. BUT, when you think about it, on that planet, small, cute, fluffy things are deadly predators where massive, clawed, dangerous-looking monstrosities are harmless. So of course they're terrified of the havenworlders. To these people the gentle havenworlders look just like THEIR world's predators. Just like havenworlders are afraid of these beings becuase for the havenworlders, if you've got lots of bulk, claws, and big teeth, you're a dangerous predator.
