UPDATE II: The site is back functional, but it looks like trading is still halted.
UPDATE: The site is back up almost as soon as it went offline. Congrats to Binance for a smooth upgrade.
First notice was given less than 24 hours ago.
I noted lagging response times on the site before it went down for the scheduled maintenance. Crypto markets are surging tonight. Hopefully Binance is only down for the half hour they planned and everything runs smoothly once it's back up.
Many Steemians are projecting Binance to soon become the largest exchange.
