I learnt a lot in today's mass INDOCTRINATION which I will be sharing with us today and one of it is the power of prayer. So many of us most times we underate the importance of prayer not knowing that there is so much prayer can do. God will never forsake those who pray Towards him. Today I learnt that God is always ready to hear our prayers
Some people might actually be asking, when should we really pray.
Today in this mass indoctrination , I learnt that we can pray every single time whether in difficulty or in comfort, we should know how to pray to God and for us to maintain a life of communication between us and God because that is only the way we can overcome the hurdles of life and the challenges that comes our way. The same way God does not need a cellular phone. All he needs is for us to knee down and pray to Him. I learnt today that we should not live a prayerness life. We should always pray daily and it should be part and parcel of us every single time.
Luke.18.1 - And he spake a parable onto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Luke.18.2 - Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
Luke.18.3 - And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
Luke.18.4 - And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
Luke.18.5 - Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
Luke.18.6 - And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
As you can see in that parable up there, Christ was giving to us a parable to show us the power of Consistent and persistent prayer. With that I learnt today through brother Daniel that we should pray day and night and by not stopping. And we should be careful that we pray without not stopping
1Thess.5.17 - Pray without ceasing.
If the bible can command us to pray without season, then we should follow that rule and actually pray without season and that means night and day. When we wake up, before doing any work, we should pray and keep praying to God no matter what. That is how we can actually grow and get sustained in life. It is very important that even before we sleep, we should thank God and still pray to God. I learnt that today in this mass indoctrination.
That is the power of prayer that most of the time we don't always realise. A simple prayer but with great importance to God. We should pray to God when we want to sleep and even when we wake up also, we should pray to God also. That is so power to God and we should always sustained it. I learnt today that we should not be tired of praying because it is and should be our lifestyle. Praying to God day and night can actually do so much great things in our life beyond which we can actually imagine of.
I learn today also that God is not slow to understand. God always listen to prayers no matter how it be. The smallest prayer will still be heard only if we can pray and believe to God. God can actually hear it . We don't need to repeat prayers and even make it long because God can hear it. When we pray, we should be careful not to use vain repetition and so we should not be like them. Even before we speak the word, God already understand it and so prayer should be brief and precise. Not repetitive.
