If we should see that when we dwell more on the word of God, our life continually begin to shape and become that life which God want us to become. Today I will be sharing with us what I learnt in today mass indoctrination as it was a wonderful time in God presence.
I learnt today that God is always delighted to hear our prayers no matter when and where we pray. In the household of God, he answer our prayers. As you will see in the scripture below, God has a household in heaven.
Eph.3.14 - For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Eph.3.15 - from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
Not only that but the same way God has a household in heaven, he also has in the earth and that is what is called the house of God which is the church of God. Nowadays, men are actually worshipping god's even in the house of God which is not supposed to be so. I learnt it today that the house of God is the church of God also.
1Tim.3.5 - (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?);
God made the world and all things were actually made by him as we can see in the scripture below. It is not the temple made with hand which we usually called the shrine but it is the house of God as it is even in the Bible. God does not dwell on temple made by hands. He dwell in us as we are the temple of God.
Isa.56.7 - Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations."
God said it will be called the house of prayer as that is the type of house which God will dwell. So if any church is not praying, that is not the house of God. The house of God as I learnt today is the church and so we must respect the house of God. Even in our body, the Lord dwell in us that as that is what Paul said to the church of Corinthians that we are the temple of God and the spirit of God dwell in us as we can see below. That is where the spirit of God dwell.
There is difference between the house of God and the house of prayer. The church is the house of prayer while we ourselves is the house of God. What is a church, I learnt today that the church is the congregation of people who are Prayerful. People who always pray to God. In the church of God, we should continually pray as that is what is expected to be called. The house of prayer.
