It is always a privilege to join any live session organised by MCGi and today I will be sharing with us some of the vital lessons I was able to grab in today's session. We always grow daily and learn new things daily we far as we are not tired of learning. When we stop learning, we start dying. We should understand that the devil is always looking for how to bring us down and make us fall and that is why we must be careful of what we think or do.
I learnt a lot today and one among them is that no matter what God do, he always wants the sinners to come into repentance. God's desire is not for us to dwell in sin but to repent from our evil ways. That is why we need to study the word of God because it is the truth that will set us free and remove us from the deceitfulness of sin. After all, the enemy is always the primary source of deceit. If we must be free from the enemy, then we must stick to the word of God.
*** 2 Cor.11.14 - And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.***
*** 2 Cor.11.15 - Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.***
I learnt today that there are people who are just pretending to be the light but they are the deceit of the enemy and that's why we must know the truth so that we can also be free. The truth shall make you free, we must be free from sins, not a slave of sins. I learnt also today that the enemy Satan has disciples who are pretending to be angels of light but they are not. We must be careful of them. They are also the enemies we must be careful of. It is important that the word be fulfilled and the only it can be fulfilled is by us implementing it.
Luke.1.37 - For with God nothing shall be impossible.
***Eccl.12.13 - Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. ***
Eccl.12.14 - For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Only the word of God as I learnt today can take us away from sin and make us rooted in God. We only need to follow the Commandments of God and as we are doing that, our works and deeds will be brought into judgment. God will bring everything into judgment whether it is good or evil.
And that is why we must constantly ask ourselves, have we done good or evil?
Is there any place we need to make adjustments on or what are the commandments of God we are not following? Only the word of God can guide us on that. I learnt today that for our deeds to be good, we must follow the law and Commandments of God. If it is not by it, then it is called transgression.
Mark.7.8 - For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
Also, I learned today that there are spirits that are of God and there are spirits that are not of God. And that is why there is always a constant need for us to try every Spirit whether it is of God or not. Not only that, we must always forgive and forget easily no matter what they do to us. Also, we should understand that whatever we do to people, we will receive it from people. If we do good, we receive good and if we do bad, we will receive it also and that's why we must just help our fellow man.
