In Verse 1-6, Peter was talking about the importance why wives should obey and be submissive to their husband. They should focus more on their inward state much more than their outward state. Examples was stated to back up the explanation which is of the case of Sarah and Abraham.
In Verse 7-8. This particular session was addressing the husband role to their wife's and the need why they need to live with their wife's with Understanding. It is possible for a husband prayers to be hindered because of the way he treated his wife badly.
In Verse 8-12. This particular verse was talking to all Christians and the need for them to stand true and gallant in God. We should not repay evil with evil. We should not retaliate with insults when people insult us. The lord always watches over those who do right. But he always turn his face away from those who do evil.
In Verse 13-22. I learnt that it is always it is always better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong. Glory be to God.
Chapter 4.
In Verse 1-12. In as much as Christ suffers physical pain, we should also be ready to suffer with him no matter what and be ready to actually bear the cross needed for the future and the growth. We should be anxious to do God's will. We should be very careful of not chasing after our own desire as that can really be dangerous. We should not be bothered when it seems our former friends see that we are no more that we are before again. Also we must be very cautious that we are using the gift God gives to us well and for His Glory no matter what.
In Verse 12-19. We are been told not to be surprised when we face trials because we are Christians or because we take our stand that we are Christians. We are been told that it is better we suffer for standing for Christ or righteousness than for us to suffer for the other side or for evil. There is no shame in suffering for been a Christian. We should also always trust our life unto God hand because he never fails.
Chapter 5.
In Verse 1-11. As sherperds over souls and sheeps, we should not neglect them nor should we leave them to be alone. We should watch over those souls willingly not grudgelly. We that we are younger, we should also respect and be submissive under authority. We should always remember that God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble. We should always cast our cares before God because he truly cares.
In Verse 12-14. Peter was rounding up with his final greetings about the needs why we should be encouraged no matter what we might be facing right now. We are never alone
