I'm back again and just like every week here is another Sketch that I studied and here is all the things I did and learn . So this week's reference is a more of a Elegant version of Indian wear so we have a Lady with Bindi and her hair in a low bun with hair parted and a really gorgeous neck piece with saree .
I always start with a Rough drawn sketch where I just have refined the basic shapes and structure of the sketch and then I will add more shading , values and highlights to give it a realistic feel .

So I started with a 2h refined rough sketch just the lineart and I add some values by hatching with a 4b pencil . Here I add hatching to the hair by stroking in the direction hair grow in (that's a keen step to identify where the hair folds and how it's in a bun always keep the contour of these shapes in mind) next I add some value to her nose her lips and cheek bone also the border of the saree . You clearly can see a huge difference from step one to two by just adding some shading .

Now I just blended it up with a Blending stump and after blending it becomes bit grey and faded but now u know where to add more values . Also in this step I added shading to the neck piece too . It all Develops Step by step.

Now I just blended it and added some more Shading and dark values to the hair and brows with a 7b pencil. Here you can see how the subtle blended gray skin skin looks with the Dark hair . It's really important to understand why I used 4b pencil previously I save the darkest shade for the end .

lastly I erased some parts where I want highlights with a Kneadable erasure and here is the final result .

Hope you liked it. That's all for today Thank you for your precious time and support 馃挀 see You next week with another Sketch study.
