The Indiegogo platform will start supporting projects based on blockchain investment system, The New York Times reports.
The innovation will be launched together with MicroVentures. Within its framework, accredited investors are offered a SAFT (Safe Agreement for Future Tokens) model, featuring a secure agreement for future tokens.
Indiegogo notes that for the company, this is another way to do what it has been doing almost since its founding. The platform is ready to become the first and the main one on the token sales arena.
"By supporting ICO, we want to increase the level of trust for the field," said Slava Rubin, co-founder of the platform.
He also mentioned that with launching a new service, Indiegogo began to work with the Cooley LLP law firm.
The first ICO startup on Indiegogo was the Fan-Controlled Football League, which lets American football fans influence the course of the games with their favorite teams in real time. As of today, it attracted more than $2,000 000 from 171 investors.
