Steps to enhance your Bitcoin privacy by using Monero
The following steps enhance your privacy
Entering the crypto currency market
- Purchase your Bitcoin at a cryptocurrency exchange (e.g. Coinbase, localbitcoins…)
- Exchange Bitcoin at Shapeshift or Bitsquare into Monero
- Exchange Monero back to Bitcoin
- Now you have a lot more privacy as long as you stay in crypto currencies and do not use services where you have to enter your private data
Exiting the crypto currency market
- Exchange your Bitcoins to Monero at Shapeshift or Bitsquare before exiting the crypto market
- Exchange your Monero back to Bitcoin
- Transfer the Bitcoins to an exchange in order to receive fiat currency for your Bitcoin
Creating a monero wallet
- You might want to use an online wallet e.g. MyMonero where you can also initiate transactions
- Or choose a full node or a lite wallet which are recommend by Monero developers
