Back in September, UNISWAP airdrop their tokens to all users of the Uniswap exchange. At first everyone was estatic of this airdrop and for most, they quickly liquidated it for some USDT or other crypto projects.
At that time the height of UNI token price was around $8 dropping to around $3 range. Those who accumulated more and bought more at its low .. well ... that airdrop of 400 tokens is now worth way much more.
With over 1 billion in trading volume .. this is one of the most successful DEX out there holding about 33% market share. I'm sure we would see more sophisticated DEXs coming out soon with Layer 2 coming into the limelight. Who knows whats going to happen then.
Have you tried other DEX exchanges which you would personally recommend ? I've been uniswap for awhile now and its convenient however the ETH gas fee makes it a rich man's exchange.
