There is no one pressuring you to buy stuff and it seemed so much more organized then the markets at District 1 which has tons of tourist. Prices are relatively cheaper and you get more locals coming here to buy stuff. Even around the markets there are many whole sale shops selling all kinds of stuff.
You must check it out when heading to Saigon, there is also a wide variety of food stalls at the back of the market, so you can enjoy some local cuisines.
BTW .. I managed to take a video of the tallest tower in Asia called Landmark 81 from the plane. It really sticks out like a sore thumb ... check out the video !
