According to an article on coindesk.com the government's most sensitive data could soon be stored on the blockchain.
Microsoft is launching the service called "Azure Government Secret" - which provides government agencies better access to cloud computing.
Microsoft Azure's chief technical officer Mark Russinovich said: "The U.S. government requires those data facilities to be operated by U.S. citizens with special clearance, and so the contractor we use meets that."
Another benefit of the blockchain is a dramatic reduction of waste and inefficiency.
So my fellow Steemians, what do you think about it? Will the blockchain bring benefits in almost all different branches?
