Hello Steemit community!

If you didn't know already, there is a project created called From The Ground Up( @ftgu )to help new members to find all of the communities and exciting projects here on Steemit.

Created by @mckenziegary, also a backup-witness, has decided to start this project to help the Steemit community grow. I decided to reach out and lend a hand with his project and was fortunate enough to be a part of it.

Goal

The goal of @ftgu is to help connect new and existing members of Steemit with exciting communities and projects. In doing so, @ftgu aims to increase the reach of communities & projects while also offering new and existing users the ability to earn STEEM for themselves AND different communities across the Steemit platform.

The Steem community has grown a bit larger and is only going to get bigger. There are lots of different communities within this platform and joining these different communities can help users meet new people, extend their reach, or even get involved in projects such as:

There are many more projects and communities to be a part of. There are new projects starting every day and have a common goal to grow the Steem platform and the community. @ftgu believes it may be beneficial to Streamline the process and help new and existing users find communities and projects they may like to get involved with.
